簡歷寫作三原則
一份卓有成效的英文簡歷是開啟事業(yè)之門的鑰匙。正規(guī)的簡歷有許多不同的樣式和格式。大多數(shù)求職者把能想到情況的都寫進簡歷中,但我們都知道沒有人會愿意閱讀一份長達五頁的流水帳般的英文簡歷,尤其是繁忙的人事工作者。這里有三條寫簡歷的重要原則:以一個工作目標為重點,將英文簡歷視為一個廣告,再就是盡量陳述有利條件以爭取面試機會。
第一原則是要有重點。
一個招聘者希望看到你對自己的事業(yè)采取的是認真負責的態(tài)度。不要忘記雇主在尋找的是適合某一特定職位的`人,這個人將是數(shù)百名應聘者中最合適的一個。因此如果簡歷的陳述沒有工作和職位重點,或是把你描寫成一個適合于所有職位的求職者,你很可能將無法在任何求職競爭中勝出。
第二條原則是把簡歷看作一份廣告,推銷你自己。
最成功的廣告通常要求簡短而且富有感召力,并且能夠多次重復重要信息。你的簡歷應該限制在一頁以內(nèi),工作介紹不要以段落的形式出現(xiàn);盡量運用動作性短語使語言鮮活有力;在簡歷頁面上端寫一段總結(jié)性語言,陳述你在事業(yè)上最大的優(yōu)勢,然后在工作介紹中再將這些優(yōu)勢以工作經(jīng)歷和業(yè)績的形式加以敘述。
制作簡歷的第三條原則是陳述有利信息,爭取成功機會,也就是說盡量避免在簡歷階段就遭到拒絕。
為面試階段所進行的簡歷篩選的過程就是一個刪除不合適人選的過程。如果你把自己置身于招聘者的立場就會明白:招聘時每次面視都需要較長時間,因此對招聘者來說進入面試階段的應聘者人數(shù)越少越好。招聘者對理想的應聘者有也有要求:相應的教育背景,工作經(jīng)歷,以及技術(shù)水平,這會是應聘者在新的職位上取得成功的關(guān)鍵。應聘者應該符合這些關(guān)鍵條件,這樣才能打動招聘者并贏得面視機會。同時,簡歷中不要有其他無關(guān)信息,以免影響招聘者對你的看法。
記住,寫作簡歷時,要強調(diào)工作目標和重點,語言簡短,多用動,并且避免會使你被淘汰的不相關(guān)的信息。人力資源管理者都很繁,在篩除掉不合適的應聘者前不會花費時間來瀏覽每一份簡歷。當你獲準參加面視,簡歷就完成了使命。
