So far as I’m concerned, it would definitely be a terrible idea to allow snacks and beverages in classrooms. For one thing, it would severely lower your efficiency in absorbing knowledge with a handful of snacks, especially for those informative advanced lectures that acquire your full attention. As well as that, it could also be disruptive and impolite for those who may actually want to get themselves immersed in class.
