我的祖父母和姑姑都是老師，很小的時(shí)候就從他們那里知道了很多世界各地的有趣的事情。諾貝爾是我對(duì)瑞典的第一印象，因?yàn)橹Z貝爾獎(jiǎng)的存在，讓我對(duì)遙遠(yuǎn)的瑞典有了一種崇敬。我讀的第一個(gè)兒童小說(shuō)就是《Pippi》，后來(lái)才知道，這是瑞典作家Von Astrid Lindgren的作品。隨著年齡的增長(zhǎng)，我逐漸知道了越來(lái)越多關(guān)于北歐，關(guān)于瑞典的歷史和人文知識(shí)。從諾貝爾到圣誕老人，從愛(ài)立信到宜家(IKEA)。知道得越多，我就越是對(duì)瑞典充滿了向往，希望自己有一天能踏上這個(gè)美麗的國(guó)度。
受到祖父母的影響，我考進(jìn)了上海師范大學(xué)，選擇了英語(yǔ)專業(yè)，因?yàn)槲矣X(jué)得這是我了解世界的一個(gè)有力的工具。
在四年中，我系統(tǒng)的學(xué)習(xí)了英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言的知識(shí)，聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫都打下了堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。在學(xué)習(xí)中，我知道每門課程都會(huì)給我?guī)?lái)收獲，都是實(shí)現(xiàn)我的夢(mèng)想的基石。我堅(jiān)信只要我認(rèn)真的，努力的去學(xué)習(xí)，我一定能做到最好。四年中，我連續(xù)獲得了學(xué)校的獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，順利的通過(guò)了專業(yè)英語(yǔ)考試6級(jí)，8級(jí)，而且現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)通過(guò)了上海市高級(jí)口譯的筆試部分，近期我就要參加口試部分，我有十足的把握通過(guò)這個(gè)測(cè)試，獲得高級(jí)口譯證書。當(dāng)我從上海師范大學(xué)畢業(yè)時(shí)，我在專業(yè)中排名第4，獲得了“優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生”的稱號(hào)。
畢業(yè)以后，我進(jìn)入了一家機(jī)械貿(mào)易公司。作為經(jīng)理的助理，我整日要面對(duì)大量的英文文檔的書寫、翻譯。除了日常的英語(yǔ)交流以外，我遇到了大量的機(jī)械、貿(mào)易等等方面的專業(yè)詞匯，這是對(duì)我的挑戰(zhàn)，而且我知道，如果戰(zhàn)勝了這個(gè)挑戰(zhàn)，我將會(huì)有一個(gè)很大的提高。于是我利用所有可以利用的時(shí)間翻閱專業(yè)字典，跟此行業(yè)內(nèi)的資深人士交流。從開(kāi)始的磕磕絆絆，經(jīng)過(guò)努力的學(xué)習(xí)，我現(xiàn)在已經(jīng)可以十分自如的應(yīng)對(duì)這些專業(yè)知識(shí)了。
通過(guò)多年的學(xué)習(xí)和工作，我逐漸感到自己還有比較大的提升空間，于是我萌生了出國(guó)留學(xué)的想法。瑞典是一個(gè)我最向往的國(guó)家，如果能在瑞典學(xué)習(xí)，我想我不但能進(jìn)一步提高自己的英語(yǔ)水平，而且可以學(xué)習(xí)瑞典語(yǔ)，這樣我就能更好的去了解瑞典、了解歐洲。
隨著中國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展，中國(guó)跟北歐的文化、經(jīng)濟(jì)交流必然會(huì)越來(lái)越多，涉及的面會(huì)越來(lái)越廣。如果我能獲得一個(gè)在你們學(xué)校XXXXXXX專業(yè)的學(xué)習(xí)機(jī)會(huì)，我想我必然會(huì)在中歐交流的大潮中處于非常有利的位置。我一定會(huì)利用自己學(xué)到的專業(yè)知識(shí)，多做一些對(duì)中瑞交流有益的事情，將瑞典文化介紹給中國(guó)人民，將中國(guó)文化介紹給瑞典人民，增進(jìn)我們的相互了

Personal Statement
I am xxxxx, born on April 29, 1982. Majoring in English at Shanghai Normal University, I put across my undergraduate program of English in 2005 and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts at the same time. In view of my BAIDU_CLB_fillSlot( '920314' );
insufficiency in current acquisition, I am determined to file for XXX offered by XXX so as to win self-improvement.
My grandparents and my aunt are engaged in teaching. In my early years, I got to know a lot of interesting things at every corner of the world from them. My first impression on Sweden was Nobel Prize, because of whose existence, I held a kind of admiration for remote Sweden. The first children’s novel that I touched was Pippi, which, I latterly knew, was the work of Sweden’s writer Von Astrid Lindgren. Along with my growth, I gradually acquainted myself with North Europe increasingly, like its history and humanistic knowledge, ranging from Nobel Prize to Santa Claus and from Errison to IKEA. The more I understood Sweden, the more I yearned for it, hoping that someday I can set foot on this beautiful land.
Influenced by my grandparents, I was matriculated in Shanghai Normal University and chose to study English, for I felt that it was a powerful tool for me to understand the world.
In the four-year study at the university, I systematically acquired knowledge about English language, laying a sound foundation for listening, speaking, reading and writing in English. In study, I realized that every course would bring me a different gain and all the courses were the cornerstone for the actualization of my ideal. I firmly hold the belief that so long as I studied earnestly and assiduously, I was bound to do a good job. At the university, consecutively winning scholarships of our university, I smoothly passed TEM 4 and TEM 8 as well as the Written Part of Shanghai Advanced English Interpretation. Recently I will take Oral Part of the test and I have full confidence in passing the test and obtaining Certificate of Shanghai Advanced English Interpretation. When I accomplished my undergraduate courses, I ranked the fourth place in my speciality and gained the honorable title of Excellent Graduate.
After my graduation, I serve my employment in Regloplas (Shanghai) Co.,Ltd. As Assistant to General Manger, I have to deal with the writing and translation of a good number of English files. In addition to daily English communication, I come across a wealth of specialized words including
mechanism and trade, which is a challenge for me. And I know that if I conquer the challenge, I will make a great enhancement. Therefore I avail myself of the time that I can use to thumb through specialized dictionaries and exchange my ideas with seniors in these fields.
